What to do
The Palazzina is ideal, because you can easily reach the cities of art, the artistic and cultural places of interest such as Siena (18km), Montalcino (30km), Monteriggioni (38km), Pienza (43km), San Galgano (30km), San Gimignano (61 km) and many others.
From Palazzaina there is also the possibility to reach the sea and the mountains, the house is in fact only 70 km from the seaside and 40 from Mount Amiata, near where the Wildlife Park in the Natural Reserve of Mount Labbro in the locality of Arcidosso.
La Palazzina is situated near important thermal points, perferct for a winter weekend for relaxing: le terme di Petriolo (18Km), Saturnia (97 km), Bagni di San Filippo (54 km).
For those who want a little 'adventure, we organize trips to explore the woods and rivers of these areas and manyother things that nature gives us. On these occasions it is not uncommon to see the animals that inhabit our area.
At the Palazzina you can also go for walks, bike or horseback in the numerous trails near us.
Also, if you are our guest in the autumn, during the trek you can easily search and find mushrooms.
For those who are fond of the motorcycle, the surrounding hills are perfect for a ride to enjoy a splendid panorama. In 2 kilometers there's a riding school.
But if you feel like you just a little 'rest and quiet, you can enjoy the outdoors comfortably lying on our beds or give yourself a refreshing bath in the pool.
And if you do not want the evening time to sunset, you can cook outdoors with friends: we have made available a large barbecue and a wood-burning oven, which can be used freely.
